REPORT!

It has been release the report of the project "VIVIAMOCI SANT'ERMETE"! Below are excerpts of articles translated! Seek it in the shops of the district 3, or withdraw it at the House of Cultures (circolo M. Salvadori, via di Putignano 306)!

As supervisor of the project “Viviamoci Sant’Ermete!” I want to express my appreciation for the working method followed and the first results, in spite of the difficulties inevitably associated with the exercise of active citizenship.
The participation has been recognized as a common good, to defend and deepen, and the project is revealing many interesting directions to meet the needs of the area, the possible activities to be carried in the House of Cultures and the contribution that the participants intend to give to the implementation of what is being discussed and decided during the project.
FEDERICO OLIVERI

The area covered by the project, very active in the past, has lived for years a crisis of participation. It's desirable that the path drawn by the project “VIVIAMOCI SANT’ERMETE!” will be able to remove the existing mistrust and difficulties in order to restore hope and tools for building a better future.
ROMEO BARSACCHI
Since that moment, after reading and reading again the call for proposals, it seemed to me tailor-made for us! Now, thanks to the dance classes and dinner and lunch parties, the “Circolo” is getting back to life, and young families are approaching again. In May, we're going all to Coltano: a great bike-ride...everyone cycling for a better quarter!
MARCO CASTELLACCI

Through the project “Pisa Partecipa” the municipality of Pisa has established the Territorials Councils of Participation. Their aim is to meet the needs of representation and the interests expressed by the population, and to decentralize administrative services, in order to recreate the civic and social spirit of the area.
JURI DELL'OMODARME
Our territory feels the effects of the presence of several transport links, that make it fragmented…I think that the Project takes it upon itself to start from the needs collected through interviews and consultations, in order to develop new ideas and activities born by the citizens themselves (collective-managed workshops, courses, film debates, etc.) and to give life to an ambitious project as the House ofCultures of S. Ermete.
VERONICA FICHI

The project “Viviamoci Sant'Ermete” has the great merit to create new occasions of sociality in quarters that, for a long time, haven't been able to share even simple games spaces. We really need social spaces in suburban quarters as ours!
PAOLA BALESTRI
Last January, at the traditional tombola-time organized every Tuesday and Friday afternoon at the Circolo of S. Ermete, we met some “faithful tombola players”, aged 60 and over, and asked them some questions about their quarter: how do you live your quarter?; what does it miss there?; how would you like it looked like?
The old gentlemen and ladies we met, expressed the opinion that life is nice in the quarter because: “Here nothing misses, we have the post-office, the shops, the pharmacy and also a new pizzeria…. at last we have also the tombola-time!”. Many of them know the most of the people who live in Sant’Ermete, and they enjoy it very much! As negative points they highlight: external groups that disturb and bother the quarter’s calmness and the missing of green areas for going walking. In particular, an old lady suggests to arrange the pedestrian crossing, also used by the students, nearby the railway, where it could be created a beautiful green area.
